Port of Freeport – ARI – Rough Rice Expansion
Design and construction management. The project consisted of permitting, design, construction management and inspection of 15 new elevated rough rice storage silos, truck scale and load out equipment. The project included site work, storm water drainage, utilities, pile-driving, concrete foundations, helical anchors, erection of silos and associated towers, conveyors, bucket elevators, electrical substation and all automated systems.


Oiltanking – Houston

Provide Engineering to rehabilitate barge dock platform, walkways and breasting dolphins. Construction inspection was included on the project.


Kirby Inland Marine - Houston

Provide permitting, design, and construction inspection for a new barge dock on the San Jacinto River. Project consisted of steel sheet piling, fender systems, concrete paving, slope protection, and rip rap drainage structures. 


Aimcor – Texas City

Modifications/upgrades to existing ship dock, barge dock, breasting/mooring dolphins, bulkhandling equipment, and US Army Corps of Engineers permit. Bid packages were provided for each phase of the project: including dredging, civil, structural steel, foundations, electrical and equipment erection.

American Rice - Freeport, Texas

Perform design and construction management of the “Package Ware-house Expansion”. The project included sitework, utilities, design; i.e. firewater, potable water system, electrical and utility relocation. Additionally, the new warehouse expansion included pallet rack storage, equipment handling recommendations for automated storage to truck load out transfer. Project requirements called for new truck doors, offices with restrooms and sprinkler systems for the new expansion.

Greens Port - Houston, Texas

This project consisted of the design and construction inspection of 110,000 sq.ft. foundation modifications to convert an existing steel mill warehouse into a storage warehouse for bulk cargo. The project included initial field inspection of the existing floor and numerous openings, reviewing loading requirements and designing “covers" for numerous slab openings and pits including below grade structural modifications, and a concrete slab overlay. Also included were the design of retaining walls, access ramps, truck docks, wall extensions and tie-ins to existing walls.


Port Freeport – Surfside, Texas

Provide design and contract documents.  Site work included, site drainage, utilities, paving, rest-rooms, sanitary sewer (lift station), electrical service and lighting.


Port Freeport Rail Spur – Freeport, Texas

This was a "fast track" project of rail extension and spur.  The project scope included underground drainage modifications.
